5. Write a poem about a weird fact or several odd facts that you know.

  1. 4.
The black basilisk attacks at the soul
    relentlessly hacking away at it
    and it never looks back
because it knows that the leviathan waiting
    back in their layer
    doesn't appreciate the backtracks
    and it lies
circling around its stack of memories.

    5.
    The twinkling stars in space
vastly outnumber the tiny specs on Earth
    that we call sand
    How insignificant we are
in the grand scheme of things
    in the seemingly infinite universe

    6.
    Lovesick
    On one hand
    I want to kiss you.
    Caress you.
    Hold your door open.
    Kiss your hands softly
While I gift you with flowers.
I want to take you to dinner
Drink wine and have a chat..
    Cuddle up with some Netflix
    Would you like that?
I want to write you a sonnet
Sing it to you at work.
Make you blush from my words
    Love you until it hurts.
    Lavish, honor, and cherish
    Until you have no need
    for another
Because your heart is so full of me.
    Then on the other hand
    I want to bite you,
Hold my hand to your throat.
Push you back against the wall
Or pin you down on the floor.
I want to hiss dirty utterings
That make your body cave in
That makes you become just as reckless.
I want to rip up your dresses
Leave my stain on your lips
And do all the things a lover is not supposed to do.

    7.
    Honey falls from your lips
    While sugar sticks to mine
we giggle like children when the sweet substances
    finally combine

    8.
The universe is ever expanding, though at this point it may be contracting in on itself
closing in on us, on humanity, until one day, all of us may cease to exists
it is a vast and endless void, filled with stars and planets and comets and galaxies
bigger than any of us and bigger than all of us

    9.
    D
D for Dangerous, Daring, Dynasty, and Denial
For Dashing, Discovery, Damaged, and of course
    despair.
D for all the wonderful things in life
and D for all the Deranged.

    10.
I can see you staring at me
I see you staring at my body
And the way you look at me
Staring at me with your lustful eyes
I find it completely and utterly disgusting
I wish that you would just leave
So that I can return to life

  2. Correction. With practice
    Comes perfection. But
    Perfection come not without reflection

Impurities you see but none are mis-done
Your message a cursive word with no connection

reflection. With practice come perfect. But perfect
    From practice is impossible.

Cursive letters that speak to you like cursed letters that leave your soul in fraction
Divided among the faction of the passion of people who take action and with practice they find perfect unachaviable

    Correction.

      Within the depths of blue

Sits a creature, eyes peircing green.

      Laying within it's transparent head

Constantly pointed upward in the pursuit of prey

    2. 6. Digging

      Mother, I am going outside!
The boy said, he was small, and frail, but
hard headed, and tough, and daring.
He picked up a trowel from the sand box in the yard and started plowing into the ground.

Worms and bugs all were found nesting beneath the dirt. He wan not bothered he had kept digging and piling the dirt on the side

The Boy duh and dug until he hit a root, then he dug around the root.
It was nice out he had nowhere to be. The sun was mild but just right, just beautiful, the song birds sang lovely songs that day

Crunch. He broke through the roof and kept digging down and down. The sun beating on his forehead plowing the shovel finally climbing out the grave he dug.
He rolled the body into it and began to burry

    3. 7. Moby

      The simplest of things

Rip the bark from a moby tree. Take many many

Prepare jug of water and rinse the bark of any moss or bugs.

take a pot light a fire beneath, boil the water. Put in the bark. And let it boil

Watch as the colour swirls the Walter tints orange, when you can smell the bitter you are ready to let it cool

Pour the water into a jug and let become cold

Take a glass and pour. Take many sips, many many

    4. 8. If you stare

Does the sky look back at you as you do stare into its starts like freckles ever expanding outward toward oblivion.
Does it look back into our tiny eyes and wonder like we wonder of our mystery or are we simply a speck apon up face drifting with no purpose but an end.
Are we the marble being flicked from the palm of boys clashing against others for game.

Our existence a marble... a universe seperated from another a world like no other but similar.

    5. 9. X

10 times the amount you like your letter I love X.
It's weird a Cooke but with words like xzylphone and xysts makes existence a bit better.
      See X marks the spot
      I put X between names
      X between numbers
      X between anything
And end any journey in X

I need to have it right now
I need to have more, more, more.
I need to innact my cruel revenge
I can do it some time later y'know
I'm the best thing since Betty white
I wish I had her good looks

  3. 4. Reason
For everything done, in this earth, there's
a reason. The rough life, that everyone says,
'it's enough,' but you need to realize
that it's only trying to make you a little bit more tough.
Just make sure, that you don't sweat the small stuff.

  4. 5. Our World

    The oceans are a universe.
They are the sky that cover the land,
and allows the living creatures to invade in the depths
of it's unseen by human eyes, world.

Humans can't live underwater, because they would immediately die.
But the oceans cover most of the planet.
    We are invading property
because earth is the ocean's territory.

The waves are furious when the moon gets near.
They angrily rise and splash angrily against everything that
is preventing them from being free.
The ocean is the most powerful being in the world.

Big white gates surrounding the shores
because God wanted to create land,
    so he separated them both.
The land looks at the ocean
    saying 'it's our land now.'

    But the land knows that
    when it disobeys God,
the ocean will be the tool for punishment.
Meanwhile, it is good for them to be separated.

  5. 6. Homesick

I wonder how the flowers are doing.
If they still need me to water them or if everything is handled.
I wonder if they are growing and ready to expand.
My neighbor always asked me in the spring time, to
give her a little branch of roses. They left home, but grew big and colorful in
her house. I remember passing by there every day. Not being able to take them
back home, because now they were accustomed to their new home,
so I just needed to let them grow.

It's so hard for the young ones, when they want to get accepted in far away colleges.
It's even harder for the parents. They've been in their child's life since forever,
but there comes a time in their life, where you have to let them grow, run free, and live life
to the fullest. But there are times when they will be sitting in their rooms, and look every day at
those pictures when they use to be home, but they won't be able to come back because
they need to grow, and they grow through decisions. They will remember all the beautiful days
that made them to be the person they are, and they will be grateful.

Because all the growing, starts at home.

  6. 7. Beginning, Middle, End

It all started the night that you wanted to make hot chocolate,
but since you didn't know, you called me inside the house.
We were both young, so we didn't know that much about cooking,
we just loved hot chocolate on a snowy night.
Everyone was outside shoveling out the winter storm that had
recently passed away. Your wish was to warm everyone up with a little sip
of hot chocolate, but when you take risk toward something that you love,
    you add the best ingredient.
You opened the milk carton and poured in the pot that was being heated over the stove.
    You asked me, 'what's next?'
I looked around and found some Hershey Kisses, which I dropped in, to make a mixture.
We forgot an ingredient. The greatest of all.
    So we kissed.

  7. 8. I Wonder

I wonder what do You look like when you are sad.
Do You just let us know by making it rain,
and letting it fall on our heads.

I wonder what things You do when You're angry.
Like, do You have a stress ball to control Yourself a bit.
Maybe You play with the water to calm Yourself, and that's why You create storms.

I wonder the what symbols can I identify when you are happy.
Is the shining of the sun, in a winter morning one?
Or when we see the birds flying in the sky and singing in their own language.

I wonder many things, because I don't know a lot.
I know many things that You have done in the past
and about everything You have created,

but I want to know about You because I know that
You know everything from me. Even the depths of my heart,
the secrets that no one has ever heard coming out of my mouth.

Just like friends, I wonder how it would be .
To share our simple time, without wasting a single second
because there are a bunch of questions I need to ask

  8. 9. Positive C

    I C you being another choice in between A. B. C. D.
They all wonder your importance, but I know the ways
that you have impacted my life.

C is for the choices in life, that you have to make.
When plan A or plan B doesn't work,
remember C is the next choice.

C is to create new memories in life,
because every moment of our life should be cherished
since this day will never come back.

C is for the calmness that is in the middle of our daily storms.
We need to understand that there is a supreme being that cares
for us since we are his children.

C is for the cheers that we need to accept in life.
The cheers that takes us out of sadness and allows
us to chuckle, and have a pure heart.

C, it's your choice, you decide which positive C, do you want to C.

  9. 10. Others Before

We see that everyone wants to become famous
to be before Him. Well, understand that the only one
that is important and greater is God.
There is no need for humiliation,
    arrogance, or competition,
because the only big one in this world is God.
We are all equal under the eyes of God, and there shall not be any idols before him.

    Whirlpool

I can’t find your smile in the dark-
so I just believe it’s there.

your heart encased itself in ice,
and your mind shut out the rest of the world-

But I refuse to let the monster slowly
    pull you away.

    You have to fight it.
You’ll never win if you roll over and die.

I forgive you for all the lies you told-
    and the promises you broke.

    You’re stuck in a whirlpool,
    twisting and turning,

slowly getting closer to the middle.
    You can swim.

    You can swim away-
away from the pain, the pleasure, the panic.

You can break free from your prison-
all you have to do is try.

    4/5/17

    A single cloud-
one of those things in the sky that’s puffy and white
can weigh over a million pounds.

The way they float effortlessly makes one think
they weigh in at almost nothing.

And the things we have at night,
our dreams only last three seconds.

I know. It feels like those visions last forever.

But when I think about it, I realize
our dreams are a bunch of images

and visions mashed together creating a picture that flashes through our minds

So when my eyes grow heavy,
    I will dream.

And in that dream, I’ll be standing in the sky; cloud in hand.

    4/6/17

    Quiet

All I can hear is the noise ricocheting off the walls.

I try to cover my ears,
but the sounds still finds a way through.

    It follows me around.
    Every corner I turn, everywhere.

    I can feel it-
I can feel it twisting and turning throughout my brain

    It’s there-
    I know it is.

    Loud.

Where are you when I need you?
When I need to block out the silence.

You’re not there when I need to forget the memories that haunt my mind.

    I can't handle the quiet.

It wraps my me up and refuses to let go.
    I’m begging you,
    Let the loudness surround me.

    4/7/17

    Cinnamon Rolls

The smell of your cinnamon rolls in the morning fills me with joy.

Their warm feeling pulls us together so we chat.

Bubbly words fill the air. Laughter falling from our lips.

We tell each other things we wouldn't normally-

    because of this delicious treat.
It’s amazing how we can bond so easily over food.

We talk and talk about life, our feelings, society.

All thanks to a simple morning treat.

    4/8/17

    Are you really there?

Is what I ask at night after my evening prayer.
I had always been the logical one-

And yet I find myself speaking something to someone who might not be out there.

Can you hear me? Is what I want to say,
but the women and men at church assure me that He can.

Why doesn't he answer? I wonder, as I ask Him to keep me safe.

They all say that He works in ways we can't explain, but if that’s the case
then why can't He answer a simple question?

Mother tells me to look a little deeper, Father tells me He’s a busy man.
    Tonight's different.

After I whisper my prayer, a cup my hands together and say-
    Should I believe in you?

    A letter to U

U have a odd shape and u make an odd noise, but I can accept that.

Ur a vowel. U can be silent, or change how u sound.

Do u get along with your friends, a, e, i, o and y? U must get jealous of y, since it’s not always a vowel.

How do u feel about being at the end? Does that bother u?

    Or do u embrace it?

What’s it like when lazy teenagers use “u” instead of “you”?

Is it weird? Considering ur a letter not a word.

I can tell u though, ur definitely one of a kind, that's for sure.
